Jean and Steve's 25th anniversary in Paris

In 2007, Jean and her husband Steve celebrated their 25th anniversary by traveling to Europe. It was a trip that had been planned for years but with a growing family and work responsibilities it had been put off on numerous occasions. After being together for so many years, going to Europe seemed like the perfect way to celebrate their marriage. Their 2 youngest children Saundra and Joseph were fortunate enough to accompany their parents.

Their trip included visits to England, Ireland, the Czech Republic and France.  Deciding which of the European countries to visit was incredibly difficult. They chose England and Ireland because Steve’s relatives were from there. Their daughter Stephanie had been going to school in Prague so they wanted to experience her life there in the Czech Republic. Together their family spent the last part of their 3 week trip in Paris, France.

While in Europe, Jean and her family visited the National Gallery in London, the Rodin Museum, the D’Orsay and the Louvre while in Paris.  After teaching about these great artists and seeing their masterpieces in books, Jean was thrilled to see so many of her very favorite paintings and sculptures.
